The Path Appears…

Tina discovered the beauty of Reiki in an organic way.

A friend casually mentioned that Tina should study Reiki because she genuinely felt Tina would have a natural affinity for it. This piqued her curiosity and led to much study and learning. Soon Tina received her first attunment for Usui Reiki. Tina’s loving God connection and healthy spiritual practice has guided her life and opened countless doors. She is a woman on a mission to empower others to live life from a place of wholeness and Love.

Some Unique Life Experiences…

In 2005, Tina Soloman founded the nonprofit, Holding Out Hope, that seeks to inspire incarcerated women toward positive life change through music and mentorship. For the over 18 years, Tina directed the prison choir, Voices of Freedom, at the maximum security Tennessee Prison for Women (now the Deborah K. Johnson Rehabilitation Center). She retired from her Volunteer Choir Director role when she relocated to Florida.

In 2009, Tina Soloman became a licensed minster so she could visit and serve inmates on death row.

In 2014, she composed and performed the signature song "I Remember" for the EMMY- Award winning film about heroic Battle of the Bulge nurse Augusta Chiwy, entitled Searching for Augusta. An accomplished solo artist, Tina has recorded several albums in the faith and jazz genre.

As a speaker, Tina has traveled across the county sharing inspiring talks about hope, healing and living a life of service to others. A published writer, from 2006 - 2010 her scripts were included in five consecutive children's musicals.  

In 2014 Tina was interviewed by Diane Sawyer for her ABC 20/20 special A Nation of Women Behind Bars

A documentary film featuring Tina and the Voices of Freedom Choir and directed by fifteen-time EMMY Award winner, Mike Edwards, is currently in production.
